Stonehill Auditorium Mandel Jewish Community Center Beachwood, Ohio A 7,700 square foot multi-purpose room expansion to an existing community center’s conference facility. The addition accommodates a diverse range of events, exhibits, training seminars and phone-a-thon capabilities.     Within its octagonal form, the white perimeter columns and beams have been pulled away from the exterior wall to echo the existing entrance details. Six-foot trusses that span to the corners of this octagon highlight the interior of the multi-purpose room.     A separate yet sympathetic identity was achieved through the use of a serpentine glass wall that winds through the existing masonry openings creating a distinct image on the exterior and a dramatic new interior space.
