Citizens' Academy Charter School Cleveland, Ohio The Citizens’ Academy Charter School involved the gut rehabilitation and renovation of 10,480 square feet of The Temple Tifereth Israel’s former education wing. This project was completed with associate architect, Philmore J. Hart.     The project includes the renovation of an unused portion of the existing building to allow the school an expansion of eight elementary education classrooms (two per grade) for kindergarten to third grade.     In addition to the classrooms, the expansion also includes a new teacher’s lounge and commons area. Existing skylights throughout the expansion area were refurbished to allow natural light into the classrooms and commons area.
