Montefiore Beachwood, Ohio The expansion and renovation of the 272-bed Montefiore skilled nursing facility includes a new "state-of-the-art" rehabilitation and post hospital care wing. The therapy space is a simulated environment that welcomes patients into a familiar streetscape setting known as "Rehab Road."     Included within the streetscape is a restaurant, grocery store, movie theater, bank with ATM, full-size car, mailboxes, and putting green. The urban design also identifies outdoor rehabilitation obstacles to practice real life situations like walking up sloping ramps, stepping up and down from curbs, and climbing in and out of vehicles.     The addition of thirty-two new skilled nursing rooms include barrier free showers, moisture barrier carpet, and oak finished furnishings. Also integrated into the improved expansion is a sixty-seat dining room that is illuminated by indirect lighting and features built-in garden planter walls.
